Stash all of your cell phones, pagers and electronic toys away for a while. Reconnect with your family and the outdoors on a discovery-filled family vacation to the western mountains of Maine. Our region is a recreation hub steeped in history: famous whitewater rafting, bountiful fishing, scenic hiking & biking, ancient geography, unique Native American history and distinctive wildlife.
With several options for those 8 and older, and alternative activities for those that don’t want to raft, our all-inclusive whitewater rafting packages are very family friendly. Prices start as low as $25 and rafting trips vary in length from ½-day to two days. Lodging, camping and meal plans are easily available. And, since our family vacation packages run seven days a week from May – October, we’ve got a trip to fit your schedule and budget.
As my son and I were returning to our tent . . . he said to me "Dad, I think this is the best thing I've ever done." I can't think of anything much more important than to provide your children with good values which include a love of nature and a respect for the environment. . . . and the cooperative effort of putting up tents, cleaning up, breaking camp . . . was good for us both. ~ Mark & Ben Dunay
