Maine Rafting Trips

Because the rivers in Maine are dam-controlled, we have the luxury of excellent whitewater rafting seven days a week, from April through October. In the spring, Maine's rivers are usually running at their highest due to snowmelt and rain. This means action-packed, non-stop rapids and the biggest white water rafting trips of the year.

Summertime whitewater rafting in Maine offers some of the biggest white water rafting adventures in the East! maine rafting vacation
The summer temperatures make for very comfortable rafting conditions. You typically wear just a bathing suit and shorts since both the water and weather are warm. And we can often book a reservation with just 24 hours notice.

In the fall, the crowds disappear, the weather is warm and the rivers are radiant with autumn colors. Fall also brings higher than normal whitewater due to winter draw-down of the lakes. It's a perfect time of year to whitewater raft in Maine.

Multi-Day Overnight wilderness camping trips are also available on our Maine rivers.
